Printer readiness checklist

Bed is clean and free of finger oils.Bed mesh or leveling routine is current.Z offset is verified with a controlled first-layer test.Filament is dry enough for the material.Nozzle is clean and not partially clogged.Extruder tension and spool path are not binding.Temperature range is confirmed with a small test.Retraction is tuned only after moisture and temperature are controlled.
