Lightly key smooth mating surfaces if the adhesive instructions allow it.

Clean and dry the joint.

Select adhesive by material, gap, working time, and final load.

Apply a controlled amount and avoid visible surfaces.

Step 7

Clamp or fixture the parts without bending them.

Step 8

Allow the full manufacturer cure time before sanding, painting, or loading.
