3D Printing Settings by Problem
Most print problems connect to a small group of slicer settings, but changing the wrong group wastes time. This map helps identify which settings to inspect and which guides to open next.
Problem-to-setting map
Adhesion
Inspect first-layer height, Z offset, bed temperature, first-layer speed, brim, flow, and bed cleaning.
Stringing
Inspect nozzle temperature, filament dryness, retraction length/speed, travel speed, wipe/coast behavior, and pressure advance.
Weak parts
Inspect wall count, top/bottom layers, infill, material, nozzle temperature, layer height, and print orientation.
