Clean the plate and screen area, loosen the plate as specified, home against the approved leveling surface, square the plate, tighten evenly, and set zero only when the manufacturer procedure requires it.

Ordered repair sequence

Step 1

Remove and filter resin if required by the machine procedure.

Step 2

Clean and inspect the build plate, screen protector, and leveling surface.

Step 3

Check the plate joint and mounting hardware for play or damage.

Step 4

Loosen the designated leveling screws only.

Step 5

Home the plate using the supplied card, paper, or vat method specified by the manufacturer.

Step 6

Apply even pressure while tightening screws in a cross pattern.

Step 7

Set Z zero only if the machine procedure explicitly requires it.

Step 8

Run a small multi-location validation print before a full plate.
