Easy detail and display work
PLA-family materials are often the simplest starting point when heat resistance and flexibility are not primary requirements.
Start with the part requirement, then choose a material your printer can safely handle. Do not select material only by the highest advertised strength.

PETG can be useful when toughness and moderate environmental resistance matter, but moisture, stringing and first-layer spacing need attention.
TPU needs a controlled filament path, slower motion and conservative retraction. Printer hardware matters more than a generic profile.
ABS/ASA workflows add enclosure, ventilation, warping and thermal-stability considerations. Confirm the printer can handle the material safely.
