Moisture can imitate bad settings.

TPU, nylon, PETG and support materials can absorb enough moisture to create bubbles, stringing, weak walls, clogs or inconsistent extrusion. Confirm spool condition before using extreme temperature or retraction values.

Hardness and hardware matter.

Softer TPU bends more easily during loading and printing. A short, low-friction and fully constrained path is more reliable than forcing flexible filament through long or complex feed systems.
